Diana Arnautu against a soft green background

Understanding what helps us grow.

One question has guided everything I have done: what helps people build a fulfilling, successful life, and how can we develop the abilities to get there?

I founded IntelEQ in 2024 to bring together what I care about: developing emotional intelligence in both personal and professional life. What happens within us and what happens around us are closely connected.

Before becoming a psychologist and professional coach, I spent five years in management consulting. I worked with organizations in high-performance environments, where the challenges were as much about people as strategy. That experience deepened my understanding of everyday working pressures: demanding expectations, self-doubt, complex decisions and sometimes difficult relationships.

Today, my psychotherapy practice also gives particular attention to anxiety and the experience of neurodivergence, as well as burnout and periods of change. These experiences can affect life at home and at work. They inform how I work with each person, with care for their history and what matters to them.

TODAY

Your personal life. Your working life.

In your personal life

I work with people who are navigating change, want to live more comfortably with their situation or are seeking to understand themselves. Emotions, relationships and life choices can all give us a place to begin.

In your working life

My experience in management consulting helps me understand the pressures, complex decisions and relationships that can shape working life. I support professionals and managers who want time to reflect, develop in their role or find a clearer sense of direction.

HOW I WORK

From understanding to everyday action.

We begin with what matters to you: your needs, your priorities and what you would like to change. From there, we explore patterns of thought, familiar responses and obstacles you may be facing.

With that understanding, we consider practical steps that fit your situation and values. My psychotherapy practice takes an integrative approach, drawing on the four therapeutic orientations below. The goals and way we work together depend on the service you choose.

Explore my approach to each service

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)

Explore how thoughts, emotions and behaviour connect, and consider patterns that may be contributing to a difficulty.

Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)

Build a more flexible relationship with difficult thoughts and feelings, while choosing actions guided by what matters to you.

Schema therapy

Explore familiar patterns in how you think, feel and relate to others, with attention to the needs connected with them.

Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)

Clarify what you would like to change, and identify your resources, past successes and small steps that could support that direction.
