MY SERVICES · COACHING

Clarify. Grow. Act with intention.

COACHING

What might bring you here.

Coaching supports personal or professional development. You can begin on your own or through your organization, with goals agreed at the outset.

Choose a direction

You want to take the next step in your life or career, make a decision, or set priorities that fit your circumstances and values.

Develop how you approach things

You want to work on your confidence, leadership or communication, using real situations from your life or work.

Support development at work

An organization wants to support an employee’s or manager’s development, or address difficulties they face in their role.

TWO WAYS TO BEGIN

On your own. With an organization.

The starting point and the people involved will differ. We agree on goals and how we will work together before beginning.

On your own

You can start coaching without involving your employer. We begin with your own goals and what you want to develop.

Choose what you want to focus on

A skill, a decision or a stage in your life or career gives us a concrete place to begin. Together, we clarify the changes you want to explore.

Bring reflection into daily life

We look at your resources and what stands in your way, then consider actions you could try in your personal or professional life.

For an organization

An organization may arrange coaching to support an employee’s or manager’s development. We consider the organization’s goals alongside the person’s needs.

For the person being coached

Coaching offers time to understand the expectations of your role, develop skills and reflect on situations you find difficult.

For the organization

The work aims to support meaningful development within the role, with needs, expectations and goals clarified together with the people involved.

When an organization is involved, we need to discuss goals, each person’s role, confidentiality and how information will be shared before starting. Diana and the people concerned agree on these arrangements in the context of the work.

TIME FOR YOUR DEVELOPMENT

A moment to pause. And reflect.

A meeting gives you time to talk about your role, a transition or a question on your mind, at your own pace.

You can meet at the Montréal office or online in Québec. The arrangements and scope of the coaching are discussed with Diana.

MY APPROACH TO COACHING

Step back to make progress

We begin with something concrete: a decision, a conversation or a challenge in your role. Taking a wider view helps us consider your options, your resources and what matters to you.

You may try things between meetings. We return to those experiences to understand what helps, what remains difficult and how to adjust our next steps, taking account of the possibilities and constraints in your situation.

WORKING TOGETHER

What we can explore.

Your decisions, conversations and attempts at doing things differently become the material for our meetings. The work develops from what is actually happening in your life or work.

Set your priorities

Sorting through expectations, urgent demands and what matters to you helps identify a development priority and consider how to make room for it.

Develop confidence and leadership

Using situations you encounter, we explore how you take your place, make decisions and act within your role.

Understand what holds you back

Fear, doubt and familiar habits can make change difficult. Naming them gives us a way to explore your options and the resources you can draw on.

Work on relationships and communication

We can reflect on your conversations, how you listen and how you express needs or expectations in real situations.

Actions guided by your values

We choose possible actions based on what matters to you, then look at your experience to adjust the work as we go.

TWO EXAMPLES OF A COACHING PROCESS

Begin. Explore. Reflect.

These two examples illustrate what coaching over six months could look like, with meetings every two to three weeks. The format, length and frequency are agreed according to your needs; these are examples, not a required package.

Coaching you initiate yourself

Individual work focused on a personal or professional priority you want to develop.

  1. At the start

    Choose a direction

Clarify your situation, your goals and how we will reflect on your development as the work progresses.

  2. Over the six months

    Try, notice, adjust

In meetings every two to three weeks, explore real situations, prepare actions and reflect on what you have tried between sessions.

  3. At the end

    Reflect on the process

Consider the changes you have noticed, the difficulties that remain and the directions you want to keep exploring.

Coaching supported by your organization

Individual coaching supported by the organization, with goals and working arrangements agreed at the beginning.

  1. At the start

    A three-way meeting

Diana, the person being coached and their manager clarify expectations, goals and how they will communicate, including confidentiality.

  2. Over the six months

    Individual meetings

Every two to three weeks, work on situations connected with the role, try possible approaches and reflect on development in relation to the agreed goals.

  3. At the end of the work

    A three-way review

Diana, the person being coached and their manager discuss what has been accomplished, progress and possible next steps, within the agreed arrangements.
